Verdant Press is operated by Prime Gadget ("Prime Gadget", "we", "us"). These Terms form the agreement between you and Prime Gadget for your use of this website and the digital books sold on it (the "Service").

By creating an account, placing an order, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter this agreement, and where you act for an organisation, that you are authorised to bind it.

We sell digital e-books delivered as downloadable files. On purchase you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the e-book for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, publish, sublicense, or share downloaded files, remove protection or credits, or use them to train automated systems without our written permission.

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service unlawfully or for fraudulent purposes, including payment fraud or spam;
• infringe intellectual property or other rights of Prime Gadget, our authors, or third parties;
• interfere with security — introducing malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or bypassing access controls;
• share your account credentials, or resell access to your library.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account, and for providing accurate account information.

All rights in the Service — including the website, software, branding, catalogue data, and the e-books themselves — remain the property of Prime Gadget or its licensors and authors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and its content are provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency and may include taxes calculated at the point of sale. Payment, billing, invoicing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by our reseller's terms — see the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Our own refund commitments are set out in our Refund Policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, where there is a material breach of these Terms, non-payment or a reversed payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. On termination your licence to the e-books in your library ends for any content obtained in breach of these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where that limitation is not permitted by law.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Prime Gadget's place of business, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction. Questions?
